How Do I Join RDA? 

We have annual Enrolment days usually in August & January.

In between the term we may do special days ie “bring a friend day” or “free trial week” Keep an eye on our social media/website.

In addition to this you can contact us to book a 2 week trial at a cost of £10.

Registration Fee - 

There is an annual enrolment fee of £3 for re enrolling students & £4 for new students.

What age can kids join RDA?

Kids can join RDA from Age 4+ and our Senior 2 class goes all the way up-to 18+

What should my child bring to class?

Every child should bring a bottle of water, along with the appropriate footwear for each class & Poms if required.

If you wish to provide your child with a snack we do ask that these snacks do NOT contain nuts for allergy purposes or Lollypops as these are a potential chocking hazard.

Do I stay in and watch my child’s class?

Our classes at RDA are independent classes meaning parents/guardians drop off their child at the door & pick them up after class.

Parents will be able to see their child’s progress and what they have been working on at our annual Christmas Showcase & Summer Show.

Uniform - 

Once your child has settled in, Uniform is required for all RDA classes.

This keeps us uniformed & saves the “what will I wear” hassle.

If your child has grown out of their uniform/footwear & it is still in good condition we welcome ‘pay it forward’ simply drop the items off at class & we will store them for any parent/guardian struggling to get uniform for any reason.

Shows - 

Annual Christmas Showcase/Fundraiser(December): 
This is a fun showcase of what the groups have been learning from Aug-Dec. Each group will perform two short dance routines. Dancers will be required to wear their uniform for this performance.
- We will be fundraising at this event & everything made will go towards putting on a fantastic Annual Summer Show.

Annual Summer Show (June):
This will be the main show, in a theatre with costumes & lightening!
Each group will perform a minimum of 4 dance routines each group in varying styles. Costumes will be hired for this performance, Each dancer will pay a costume fee to cover this.

Communication: 
At RDA we use email & social media. Follow our social media to stay up to date!

We have a parent/guardian only What’s App group & parent/guardian Facebook group. Links to join these groups will be in your enrolment pack you receive when signing up with RDA.
